Zora is identified as a ‘universal media registry protocol’ for facilitating the sharing of NFTs.
Zora is an Ethereum blockchain protocol, that creates perpetual media markets using ERC-721 tokens. Each media item has its market with transparent bids accessible to all. Owners can set an asking price for potential buyers.
Here’s how Zora works:
“Traditionally, to establish an NFT collection on Zora, a Creator must cover gas fees to publish their collection onto a supported blockchain network (i.e., bring it on-chain).
Now, a Creator aiming to form a collection on Zora Network can offer their collection for minting on Zora without immediate on-chain deployment. Instead, the initial purchaser of your edition (the “First Minter”) will handle the gas fees to publish your edition on Zora Network!”
Here’s a simple guide you need to follow to create a collection for free on Zora:
1.Select “Create collection” and enter your collection details.
2.Upload the media for your edition. This file can be a video, gif, audio, HTML, PDF, 3D file, or text.
Want to upload multiple media files at once? Drag and drop more files or select “+ Add more”.
A couple of things to consider:
*.There is a maximum limit of 25 files in a single upload.
*.All editions uploaded in a single batch will have the same settings and sales configuration.
*.Want to mint a text NFT? Click anywhere in the upload box and type and paste your text.
